So I had my first issue...

So, as I was riding the other day, I smelled burning plastic and immediately thought about the R/R. Well, pulled off the tail section and the insulation of two of the yellow stator wires was burned off coming out of the connector.

Well, I clipped off the connector and hardwired it. I also moved the R/R forward a bit so its directly under the "inlet" in the rear fairing. I'm planning on adding a few wires also so there's more electrical capacity and less chance of damage.

Anything else I should be thinking of doing?

Larger gauge wires have helped others. Greater flow, less resistance, less heat.
