fiberglass fairings?
Why does no one make aftermarket bodywork for 5th gen vfrs? when I bought this bike the first thing I planned to do was order some fibergass fairings to drop some weight off the bike (the only downside I have found is that the bike is heavy) My last bike was a gsxr that I outfitted with fairings from a company called sharkskins, it dropped 8 lbs off the bike and being a 2 peice uppper/lower set up made tune ups and engine work a breese. If anyone knows somewhere to get something similar please post it!

The conversion rate is 1.462 in favor of the euro. Acomplete set not counting a hugger and subframe pan will cost $950 plus shipping. 20% more if you want it to be 100% fibergass. All parts are not pre drilled but they are marked for drilling. I think its worth it if the quality is the same as SHARKSKINS. Just under $1200 for a full new set, drop 8 to 10 lbs up high and easy to repair. I am going to try to find someone that can vouch for them on the quality aspect and if everything checks out make the purchase. I will let everyone know about the outcome in a month or two. If anyone hasbought thes or dealt with this Co. please let me know.
