Beetle bag inside size?
Do the Corbin beetle bags (5th gn) fit a full face helmet inside, or are they not big enough... I occationally take a passenger for a ride and it would be Very Nice to not have to drag around a helmet on my back.
I was considering getting some (although I'd definately look used, as $1700+ is more than what I've paid for many of my bikes ... anyone have a pair up for sale? My VFR is yellow but I'm probably going to spray it at some point, so color/scratches aren't too much of an issue.) |

Hard Bags
Sorry guys if I sound like a broken record but...
You can fit BMW K1200S bags on...for half the money. They hold a full face, they "accordion" up so they can be small when you don't need 'em big, and they look nice IMHO. Check my photo gallery for a look. Contact me if you want details. Andrew |

addendum there's no way a helmet would fit in a Beetle Bag.

Here are some pics of the beetle bags... I got this VFR second hand and it came with these. They are smaller than Givi stuff, but are form fitting. Also the previous owner got a Corbin seat, but some how got a matching rear cowl attachment with lock. Under the cowl there is no seat like the OEM so you can store a jacket or gloves and visor. Looks great and I can easily store stuff now.
