Auxilliary power supply on 5th Gen 800FiY

Guys,
Can anyone tell me know if the VFR800Fi has an auxillary power source tucked away somewhere behind the fairings? If yes, where could I find it?
I plan to fit heated grips and a battery status monitor at the weekend so would be handy.

Ideally I want a switched source and I can connect to a relay for the main feed from the battery.

Thanks in advance, I searched first but didn't find anything about it.

Not on a stock model that I know of, if you're speaking of some kind of plug-in power source.

No stock source. You need to go here:

Motorcycle Relay Kits, Headlight Modulators, Parts, Powerlet, Centech, Posi-Lock, and More!

Best custom stuff on the market today.

Nope, not stock. Many people have added just what you mentioned without problems, though.

I am not talking about a cigarette lighter type socket, more a pair of wires "+" and "-".

I have two bikes. On the NT650V there is a pair of wires tucked into the fairing at the front with spade connectors, a negative earth and a positive supply which comes on with the ignition. Just looking for something similar on the VFR?

The heated grips and battery monitor will be permanenty connected, not plugged in.

I will just find a positive switched feed at the fusebox and bring this to the relay, with a direct positive lead from the battery.

I prefer the wiremybike.com site. they offer a plug and play kit that has two loose wires, one positive, one negative.

You could install a fuse box powered by the battery via a relay.
Search for fuse panel or fuse box install
