high idle

Hello Everyone,
This morning i noticed something weird while starting my 00 vfr. It sounded as if it was idling differently than the other days. When i got to work this morning my bike was idling between 500-900rpm higher. It usually idles around 1500rpm. Anybody know what might be going on with my bike.

Thanks

How much does something like that cost? Can a novice replace the old one?
