Rear brake lever, rearset problem
Hello all, a couple of months ago I got really smart and tried to pick up my helmet off the ground while I was on my bike. As you might guess, It the ground. Luckily for me, I was in the process of restoring the baby and the small paint chips/scratches didn't make me cry. However, the rear brake lever and rearset are messed up. The rearset needs to be replaced and perhaps the brake lever as well. I need to know where I would be able to find a rearset that would fit a 1984 VF750F. Are the rearsets the same as any other models? So far I haven't found anything said to fit. Any help is appreciated.

Measure the distance from bolt center to bolt center on the rear sets. Usually companies will share parts between models to save on cost. I'd look for rear sets from a CBR from the same year as a start. Depending on the distance between bolts you might find some from a diffetent company that will work. Try Dennis Kirk for the lever, they might have some rear sets as well.

Your best bet would be to search EBay...Look for rearsets from a VF750F as well as the VF700F and VF1000F.

Heres a set of used rearsets for your bike. they were made from a combination of a bracket from an aftermarket supplier and factory parts.
