solo seat cover
I just ordered a solo seat cover and seat latch from evay.
Need help with installing the seat cover... Attached is a pic... How does the back end match up to the tailight? Does this replace the entire rear fairing? http://houseofmotorcycles.bikebandit...F2/1986/219809 |

find the two screws on either side of your seat they should be chrome.you need two take those out. then look at the back of the seat at the very center of the rear fairing there should be a little cut out for the tap on the back of the fairing that you just bought. slid the tap into slot then push down over seat then reinstall the screws that you took out at the beginning they should fit through the holes in the side of your new fairing.if the picture that you have shown is of the actual fairing it looks like thoughs holes may have been broken off. hope this helps you.

Helpppppp! I'm dying over here! I purchased a rear solo seat cowl that I can use on my 1984 VF1000F. My only problems are I am missing the attaching pieces to install this cowl such as the locking mechanisms and the seat strap/bolts. I have researched all parts catalogs but the rear solo seat cowl is not shown. I am in the process of having it painted shasta white and will order the decals from cbdecals.com. Any suggestions?
