VFR 700 ignition switch replacement

So I recently acquired a 1986 VFR700 in 3 boxes of parts. After spending a weekend with it, I have it mostly together, however I am missing a few key parts.

First is numerous nuts and bolts. Is there a stainless bolt kit available?

Second is my ignition switch and tank cap are missing. Where can I get replacements? Ebay does not seem to have anything...Unless I can use the switch and tank cap from a different year/model of bike. Does anyone know if a cbr or later vfr switch/tank cap will fit an 86?

Thanks

For my 87, there were numerous years of many different bikes that would fit. The main thing is how many wires does your plug require? I would say 6 if it is the same as mine, which I think it is. Mine actually was for a CBR1000. Do you have any parts of the existing ignition? If not, I can show you what it should look like. I'll look on ebay and see if I can find one that should fit.

Here are some that would work. Notice the 6 flat prongs on the rectangular shaped connector. The key part will def fit if it has 6 wires and the same 6 prong configuration as these.

Hey thanks for the responses. I have most of the ignition. The coils and wires appear to be intact, but I probably won't know until I start plugging things in. So, other year tank caps may work? Looks like I *just* missed that cap and switch auction.
