AGM battery for VFR750F

Well I Needed to replace the battery on my 86 VFR750F and yes that means it is almost repaired woot. So I went to battery mart and got an ETX12 battery for it but it did not fit. Not I see that it is for a 90 VFR750 my mistake. I searched for a while and could only find standard yusa batteries for the VFR and I always had to buy the acid separately. Fortunately I had a Magna battery around and what do you know it is about 1/4 inch taller but it works. The only mod I had to do was use longer m6 bolts and add a nut under each terminal as a spacer as the VFR cable ends are hooked not flat like the magnas. So if you need an 86 VFR battery and want AGM big crank / magna powers ETX15 will work just fine.
