differences in clutch and brake reservoirs
Am I correct in thinking that I could use almost any year and model front clutch and brake reservoir for my 87 vfr700? The glass is trashed on both reservoirs and I would like to replace with a matching set of something a little newer. I think they would all work the same and they should all be for the same diameter bars....right? I am thinking that the only differences are shape, size and color.
Thanks, Doug |

Don't replace the entire M/C.
Just replace the site glass: Site_glass_replacement - SabMagFAQ Works for both M/C.

There are differences. Bore, stroke, type of lever. Can't really mix and match without knowing what you have, what you need and what you're trying to use.

If you choose a radial pump you'll have to change the hoses because the plug is in the lower part. I've bought 2 Brembo 16mm axial pumps coming from Aprilia Tuono.....what a difference ![]() ![]()
