I had the same problem. I used a product called One Shot. It is used by auto detailers. A very thick liquid with the slightest amount of abrasive. Followed up with a good coat of wax. My windscreen was twice as clear and showed no scratches. As with everything, try a little spot first. Good luck.

I don't know if this is of help or not. I replaced my screen with an aftermarket one produced locally. The company is called "Godiva" and they manufacture to order if they do not have ones in stock. Mine took 5 days to arrive and that included manufacturing!
All the bolt holes lined up perfectly.
Cost was about US$70-
Clear or various colours, shades of tint & fluros available. Single or double bubble.
Found the advert! Visual Plastics Ltd. Hamilton, New Zealand. NZ0800 245 325.

Replacement Windscreens

For USA Sources:

Rifle sells a taller windscreen in clear, light blue, light gray and medium bronze.
http://www.rifle.com/stores/showdetl...Product_ID=921

Maier Manufacturing sells an inexpensive replacement in clear or smoke
http://www.maier-mfg.com/shop.cfm?ac...10&modelid=140

I purchased the Rifle in Light Blue. Its about 2" higher and made a big difference in reduce ind buffeting. No more Helmet Lift Off
