Gen 6 with Honda bags - which exhaust?
I remember seeing a post over the last month about an aftermarket exhaust system not fitting with the hardbags installed. My hardbags are already installed and the tax man delivered today so Im going to buy an exhaust system. I just want to make sure whatever i buy fits without any modification and that i get a better than stock sound and performance. It seems as if exhaust systems are somewhat limited for VFRs but Id like anybody's input that has bags what their experience has been with exhaust.
Microns - like the look but not sure of the sound Leo Vince carbons - like look and sound but wonder if any fit issues? Laser exhaust - love the sound but cant find anybody that sells Staintunes - really havent seen or heard this system but know others like Need some input here folks. ![]() |

I've got Staintunes under my bags ;)
I like the sound. btw, my roommate has Lasers on his 6th gen a more exotic sound (not as powerful of a sound as the tunes) and i don't think the lasers will quite clear the bags. good luck

this thread is short
this info is from vfrd 'http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=34674 Staintunes. Plenty of clearance. Scorpions, they don't work with the bags(the cans are huge, Remus fits-with a little twisting, bending & custom bracket Leo Vince , and BOS, Two Brother's VALE system should work. Microns are too big(about the same can size as Scorpion). |
