2004 VFR questions
Hey guys,
I just got myself a 2004 VFR the other day and have a few questions: 1. I am looking for Honda hard bags in Asphalt/flat black (I have them now in silver and am looking to trade). Painting them is my next option.. 2. I am wanting to either change the exhaust or modify the original exhaust (I'm looking for a better/deeper sound). Any change must accomodate the Honda bag-rack mounts of course. I understand Two-Brothers has a kit, but one muffler is a dummy :( .... Thanks for the help |

I just got a 2004 in asphalt black and love it...but those mufflers! I saw a VFR on this site with 2006 R1 mufflers on it. It looked like it was factory and they tucked in nice. They should flow better that the stockers since the R1 is a liter bike. I can't justify $1k for VFR Staintunes so I think I will try the conversion. Get back to me if you like. I am trying to get info on the conversion. Ride on, vfr13984

Hi there, good choice of bike. I got mine in January and am very happy with it.
I fitted a set of Leo Vince slipons today and the sound is much better. Alot deeper specially with the baffles out. I researched this quite a bit before deciding on these pipes. Much better reviews that the two bro's and a far better sound. I cant wait to go for a ride tomorrow and see what its like on the road. Will let you know. Cheers & Welcome, Lifes a journey...Enjoy the Ride Neville |
