I am looking for a pair of waterproof boots to wear with armoured textile pants. My job has me visiting homes so on and off multiple times a day and riding regardless of weather. Any suggestions as to brand?

Not sure if they are waterproof, but I have been eying these:

When I am riding in town I wear a pair of Honda Meteor boots. Its' MSRP is $159. Those boots are made by Joe Rocket, and you can find them easily in eBay fairly cheap. Mine were bought from Carter Honda and I got 10% off because of being a motorcycle school graduate(Safety Council...).
Sidi Canyon Sympatex

TCX Infinity Goretex
When it comes to boots, just spend the money to get quality. You said you need to visit homes & such so both of these boots have real soles, not just a smooth piece of plastic with a coporate logo on them. My feet are too important to me to wear cheap/low quality boots.

I needed a pair of boots that were good for the cycle and good to wear inside at work as well... I shopped everywhere! Trying to find a good quality black workboot was proving to be harder than it seemed... Redwing SHoes, Dexter, I went all over...
I was coming home from a failed look at Tractor Supply for a workboot when I drove in front of our local Harley Davidson Dealer and apparel store in Nashua.. I walked in and they had a whopping selection of 12 different boots...
Beleive it or not my second choice of boot eneded up being the most comfortable boot I have yet worn... I did some search and scowring of the internet and found them for a whopiing 5 doolars cheaper than what I paid... Shipping makes them more though... But they are a vey good comfy boot:

I just hit my Sidi's with the Doc Marten waterproof wax... Instant water resistance. Close the air vents and my feet stay dry when I hit weather.

Love my Alpinestars SMX 4 Gortex which replaced my excellent old Alpinestars Vortex Gortex, 100% waterproof, all day comfortable on the bike no matter the temperature with the only downside to the SMX 4 is after a time they they have started to squeak a little when walking was thinking off trying clear dry grease like used in car doors hinges etc or something else any suggestions ?

Thanks to all. I bought a pair of gortex Puma flats and have been very happy. I needed a sole I could feel the bike with and a shoe which was waterproof and very easy to get on/off, and even wear into different environments. It all worked out well.

Hey folks,
I haven't mastered the art of pasting pics in these replies. My boots are called Puma Flat 2. I haven't experienced much 'weather' yet but my Joe Rocket/Honda armoured textile pants will come down far enough to ensure a dry/covered boot top. The 'feel' of the boot is good for walking about and also for sensing my shifting and breaking. The left boot has a rubber dorsal insert for shifting stability. Medial and lateral heel reinforcement is supportive and protective. They are very easy to put on/take off which I have to do a number of times throughout the day. Being gortex, they are expensive but I hold onto things for a long while.
