Helmet to match 2007 Aniversary Paintjob?
Fellow VFRers,
I just picked up a nice new 2007 red white and blue Interceptor and have seen a few pictures of helmets that match the bike and was wondering if anyone knew where to find one. The look amazing with the bike. thanks in advance! |

I was thinking of a plain old boring white helmet, safe and matches nicely.

I think an RF-1000 Nerve blue would look good.
RX-7 Edwards would look good too. ![]() An '07 Edwards would look even better. ![]()

you guys are hardcore, and I LOVE IT!!
I talked with the guys at the dealer where the bike is located and apparently they have some RWB helmets, if they have nothing I like, I'll buy the cheapest thing they got and ride it home and buy something else down the road. I wish I knew where the matching helmet came from, though....because it looks sweet. judging by the custom items on that bike I bet that guy made the helmet himself. |

Advice........
Try a quality lid at the dealer, even if you don't like the colors. There are some smoking deals on-line (no tax, free shipping, great prices) and you'll have your fit figured out to pull the trigger.

thank you all for the keen advice. FYI- I had erroneously posted that pic on a protected server so I don't think anyone has actually seen it. please see my post above for a look at the matching helmet.

I wish I knew....I'm curious what the costs would be to walk into a paint shop with a plain helmet and ask them to reproduce that...it is pretty sweet.

I used a rattle can. But you prolly want yours to look nicer.
Whose lid is that anyway? It needs to be in the lid thread.

That's non other than Cruzinaz's bike. He's on VFRD all the time. We ride together. His helmet and wheels were done by his painter that works for him at his wheel refurbishing business. Maybe see if you can send him a helmet to paint. I think his is the Icon Mainframe.

I just got a Bell Star from Todd at Helmet Harbor.com. I tried on several helmets a local dealers to refine my fit. Then I called Todd and discussed it with him. He suggested the Bell Star and I have to say it is an awesome helmet. They also do a wonderful job helping you out there, make sure you try to speak with Todd and he may have special pricing to offer you! The Bell I got is the "Ace of Spades" color, it looks good with the RWB bike.
