helmet lock?

I am trying to add a helmet lock to the side of my bike to carry a spare helmet. Would the normal helmet locks like $20 bucks do the job, I want something that will secure it so as not to damage anything while im driving?

Never lock a helmet to a helmet lock when riding. Pretty much every single helmet manufacturer says this. If you need to carry it, put it on the seat with a net.

KC-10 FE out...
