Sargent on a 2007 25th Anniversary model

I’d like to put a Sargent seat on my 2007 Red/White/Blue VFR800i but can’t decide on a black or red welt. Does the Sargent red match the Honda red on my bike? I really hate for the reds not to match. I’ve been thru the gallery and didn’t see any 25th’s with a Sargent seat. Do the welts fade over time? Any help or pics are appreciated.

It is reflective wheel tape that I got from local parts store (AutoZone I think). Nothing fancy but it does add a bit more viability at night and I like the look as well.

Here's mine with the black welt. I like the red welt now after seeing pics, but I wasn't sure how it would look so I just went conservative with the black welt.
