pilot pwr combo (cheap)

Just caught this link and wanted to share.. Michelin Pilot Power Combo. They check-out with the better business bureau. $230.ish delivered. Jus picked up a set. Update yall when i know more.. Motorcycle Tires - Brands

Ordered the tires on 31 October 09.
Recieved email confirmation immediatly.
The UPS tracking code says it's one day away from me, as of noon today.(ohio2wisconsin)
Paid $229.00 total.

I buzz back when they're in my hands.

That's a great deal - about $100 cheaper than Cyclegear's price. The only thing I'd check is the date (four digit number - week of the year it was manufactured) on the sidewall of the tire. The cynic in me would make sure they're not too old. If not, awesome find.

yep, so they're not old. Supposedly 1-2 yrs old is ok, but when they are much older than that, the rubber has aged and may not provide the the same performance it was intended to. I don't exactly know how old is old, but If I were buying a tire, I'd hesitate to buy one that is older than 2 yrs old. I'd check for another one that is newer. Unfortunately, when you order online you don't know the "born on date."

0709 the rear.. (Feb. 09') Correct??

Jus got to ride on them today.. The dealership mounted my rear tire backwards.. Dude was cool, he came to my place and took it back.. But missed a day of riding..

Any-hoo...
The tires are kik farkn arsse... Falls into the corners it seems like..

Yep, these tires are the shite! Got about 2k miles on my first set and have yet to feel any loss of traction and they seem to be wearing well. Thinking about taking advantage of this combo sale and saving them for later. Thanks for the update, spid.
