I have the same bag with the matching saddle bags & love em.

I would also like to know if the camera was in the bag at the time of separation from the mother ship?

Oh yea that camera was in the bag for about 2 seconds as it came apart it bounced down the road so yea it was done in. The really scary part was the night before, I used this camera to take photos of my daughters homcoming, when I found the camera on the road the door that held the memery card was gone as was the XD card, Gulp! after a brief looking around and didn't find it was looking pretty bleak, looked down for some reason and there it was, it's only the size of a postage stamp, way lucky could have blown off the road. so things wgere starting to look good now. Note; Always pre flight yur bags after every get off. The thing here was, I just had gone through the park entrance to pay to get in, I looked back so it was okay, so didn't think of it any further. then this. Whew was lucky in some say that it didn't tie up the wheel and locked things up could have been for a messy time. I used the new camera to take these photos, not to bad. That Red really stands out huh..

KC, no kidding you must have a different model VFR as those would have trouble getting along on the right side due to a Nice Staintune Nice bag thou.

The only colors they make them in are red, black & blue. The were a gift so I had no input into the choice of color. I like the red.

I'm still planning on Givi hard bags soon.

Thats a Cortech bag, made via Tour master, any dealer worth their salt should be able to get it, or maybe have one. which was the luck I had.
here's the web site.

Just got mine in black for $53.00 and free shipping if you can make your order over $75.00. That price is pretty common on the net...

RVFR, how do those tail bags attach? I had a nice set of saddle bags on my Virago that mounted under the seat and would never come off unless the seat was removed. But I sold that bike to get this one. I haven't bought any type of bags for it yet, and really miss not having any, for now I just have a bungee net on the rear seat that works for mail and a water jug. Lighter.

They have it where they use bungees with plastic hooks. to make sure they stretched tight, I set the bag on, hooked on one end up and pulled the other inward till she was what I liked tight wise then re-did the knot cut off the extra wala, you can see em there in the photos, one is on the grab handle as there's an extra bur like hooky thing just this sort of thing and the other is on the tie down thingymejing :)
