Sidi Doha Boots

How many of you need or should have maybe even thought about your boots as how it plays into not only your riding but once to your destination, it's like huh? Ok, what I'm saying here is, yes I have riding boots in fact two pair of Sidi's, but what was missing was one where I felt good about my feet in boots while riding. then once there, they're not all that great for walking around in as in shopping running errands, even at track days I bring my running shoes. So for me I know when I'm out-n-about I will break down and wear a hi top sneaker, in this case Nike air max, I figure next best thing, right
Funny once use to how your boots make it easier to manipulate your levers, so called tennis shoes don't cut it. So I've kept my eye out here and there to find an in between boot shoe combo that was the best of both worlds and not really finding anything, till now.
Found these back in November tried to purchase a pair from more than one outlet, but due to the popularity Sidi ran out, so only thing to do was put in an order and wait. then thought they'd be here for Christmas, Not, But they did show up yesterday Nice.. They are everything if not more than what I was looking for, very good build, excellent fit, built like their boots but with user friendly walking capabilities. I say good for wearing to work or play or even a night out on the town of course via bike. So if you're looking for a great Boot Shoe combo, I highly recommend these Sidi Dohas. Best two places I found them at was, www.newenough.com or Chicago sport bike specialists, which this time I went with, as I found out they where first inline from Moto nation (Sidi US distributor) to receive the order, plus they threw in free shipping.

Look at that tread woulds ya, Cool Huh?

They even have this nifty looking reflective material in the Velcro tie back. thou this photo I took was in the dark to get it to show came out fuzzy you can get the idea.

I just got my first pair of Sidi's, Canyon Sympatex, this summer for my birthday. I am very impressed with their craftsmanship. I must point out that Sidi's run smaller than normal. I wear very thick socks (Thorlo's exclusively) and had to run up a full size to get them to fit correctly. I wanted a boot that looked like a motorcycle boot or I would have picked the Doha or similar.

KC-10 FE out...

You sure right about the sizing, I wear Size 10 1/2 and 44's on all AlpineStars, tried a 44 on in the the Sidi's and almost didn't get my foot out. Just received the Sidi Strada Evo Tepor boots today and couldn't be happier, not to flashy and comfy as hell...

You guys are definitely on the right track, the Sidi's are far superior to Alpenstars or any other boot I've had. Now I have 2001 Stradas. Won't buy another brand, maybe ever.

^ If you remember right, I showed up in the PNW last summer with nothing but a 800lb Road King and lots of Harley gear, had to start from scratch on the gear again.

Your right about being a kid again on the VFR, it has led me to VFRworld, weight loss, and the rediscovery of my love for riding fast and smooth.

Now I see why the PNW riders look so forward to the riding season, because you feel like you haven't went on a real ride in years, and it's only been since November

Thanks, I'll have to look into the Doha. Coming from a cycling background, I have a pair of Sidi Genius 3's along with a pair of their mountain bike shoes and they are extremely comfortable - by far the best I've tried.
