    Scorpion EXO 700 Helmet

I just recently got a Scorpion EXO 700 helmet. Other than trying it on, I have only worn it once.

It is the Fury model in silver and the size is a small. It fits really snug and doesn't move around on my head like my Fulmer XS Joust helmet does. It's seems to be really quiet as well. The shield is easily and quickly changed. Just rotate the knobs on each side and the shield comes off.

I will update this as I get more ride time with it.

    Update:

    Price: $150
Available Colors (at the time I purchased): Silver, Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow
    Available sizes: XS-S-M-L-XL-2X
Changeable inner pads and liner to acheive customized look. (available in hot and wild colors)
    Fiberglass/Kevlar shell design

    Pros:
    Easily changed windscreen
Windscreen has a tight fit, making it resistant to "flipping open" on fast upper double, low to mid triple digit sprints.
Great fit. I got one in small, fits great. No pinching of my ears, doesn't move around at speed because of wind hitting it.
There is some wind noise, but not as much as I have had in other helmets. Also see cons.
    IMO, great airflow at speed
    Front and rear vents

    Cons:
Howling - when cruising thru town, with the shield up to facilitate better airflow, the helmet tends to "howl" a bit from wind. However, it is not overly excessive or annoying to me.
Helmet strap. It works, but the side with the D-ring just feels odd, like that part of the strap is a little short. IMO, all helmet manufactureres should put quick release clips on them.
Sheild fit: I thought the fit of the shield to the helmet over all was good, but it seems like on one side the shiled does not come down all the way, leaving about a 1/16th of an inch (or less) gap between the botom of the shield and the helmet. (Seems all my helmets do this, might just be me)

    Overall:
Overall I like this helmet. It fits well, flows air well, and is comfortable. Not really sure what this helmet weighs, but I don't notice it like I do some other helmets like Bell or KBC.

I like Scorpion helmets and plan to get one as a second helmet for a passenger and track days (as soon as I can afford it). Keep me post on what you think about the helmet - weight, noise and visor fogging. I am looking at the Crackhead helmet (not a great name for a helmet). I just bought a Nolan N102 ncom online today. I like the modular helmets, but most tracks require non-modular full face helmets. I like the convience of the modular helmet and it is not too heavy or noisy (I do not wear ear plugs). The ncom version of the Nolan Modular helmet has a plug-in for wireless communication. Price aside, what do you like most about the Scorpion helmet?

I have the Shark RSR2. My first was a KBC which was nice but once I tried the Shark, the weight difference was incredible. The Shark's visor came of easier than the KBC and the vents are superior on the Shark which is especially important for me commuting through the winter. The Shark is definitely a sweet helmet but it is definitely a pricey item. $800.00 plus Canadian. The big downfall is that if you want a smoked shield, there is absolutely no way you can use it at night, even in the city. But it is great on those bright sunny days.

Overall I am happy with this helmet too. I got the EXO 700 in XL when I bought my first bike a couple months back. It does seem pretty comfortable. It does have some wind noise, but I am guessing that is normal. I always have the face shield competely down if moving, because the first time I had it up a little bit a bee got inside and I had to pull over to help him find his way out.
