Pilot Road front, Pilot Road 2 rear
Anybody see a problem with this? Pilot Road 2 front's are backordered everywhere for at least 30 days in a 120/70.
I need new tires bad.

If you ride like a demon, as in right to the edge of traction, I can imagine the front end surprising you by sliding out when the back feels completely planted. Seems to me the test I read in one of the monthly rags says the 2's stick better. I'm not going to embarrass myself by telling you about all the tires I've mixed and matched out of curiosity or necessity. Taz probably has some good input on this one...

If you must mix, I would get the Pilot Power instead of the Pilot Road, front tires usually get almost twice the miles anyway so why not get the stickier tire, very few street riders would be able to tell the difference in that combination, just my .02

Stickier always in the front. Road front, R2 rear, not good. Find another vendor with stuff in stock or go Power up front like Rdub said...
RW, how are the powers in the rain? I've only had mine in the dry since I've got the Storm ST's on the other bike for rainy days.

Ok. I am going to go with a Power 2 in the front and Road 2 in the back.
Anybody know what type of milage I will get out of the front on my 750? I am usually non-aggressive on the bike.

I have a Power on the front and a Road in the back on my Gen5. 1800 miles on the combo and the wear looks even to me.
