I was riding on US-48, and saw a RWB 1986 interceptor. I followed for a while, then we stopped and met up. Ended up being a member on here.

Just saying it was cool seeing another Interceptor.

That is Jeremy (Jeremy556) from VFRD Forums. He is from Marietta, GA. about 30 minutes away from where I live. I was supposed to go riding with him a few weeks ago but bad weather caused me to cancel. His form looks great in those pics.

Why do I only see other VFR's when I'm in my cage!?

So I live in Pocatello, ID...AKA the middle of nowhere in a very rural state, and the local Honda Dealer told me he hadn't seen many come in... That being said, I saw a 4th gen yesterday pulling into a gas station, and I was on my way to an appointment, or I would have pulled in and talked to him. (I'm not at all bashful...lol)

A while back, I saw a red 6th gen, and since I was in the process of stripping and polishing my rear wheel, I was in my cage then too...ARGH!

See a nice red 3-4 gen on the way to work every day, really should go ring his door bell.
Lives in Jonstone park, Red Deer, Alberta and parks it on his front walk.

I passed a red 5th gen on Rt 31 north of Oswego, IL on Sunday. High mount exhaust and his gal on the back. It was almost a twin of my bike - first 5th gen I've seen on the road!

Saw a brand new looking 08 RWB with stock pipes and a guy with glasses riding it in Anderson, SC on Friday I believe it was at 1:30 or so on Hwy 81 heading into Anderson.

Saw a yellow 4th or 5th gen (not that good with the older ones) today in Greenville, SC, he pulled off and left me for dead in the company minivan, and he still had stock pipes. Cleanest older bike I've seen in a while. He pulled into the local BMW/Ducati motorcycle place.

Saw a red 4G in Reedsport, OR early Saturday morning toting two pretty happy riders despite the foggy weather. Waved as I turned off on 38 toward "The Sugar Shack" to snag doughnuts and coffee. Incidentally, if you find yourself in Reedsport with a doughnut craving, be sure to stop in. Nice folks and awesome baking.

Spotted a silver 6th gen w/bags last night about 2200 sitting at a light heading west on Dorsey Rd (176) near BWI Airport.

I was turning left off of Dorsey onto 170 toward Odenton with the Leo's screaming!

511 Twisties to Calabogie and Back

Biggest ever sighting (for me). Riding north on the 511 twisties (near Ottawa), as I was in a tuck on a corner a swarm of Viffers rode by, waving. Well, maybe there were two or three, but the closing speed was probably 240 kph and they were by in a flash. I think the last one was a 6th gen with red and white faring colour mix. I might have been seeing things.

If you're one of those Viffers and are reading this, please let us know where the swarm is from. I was on my black 06, yellow helmet, yellow/black/ white jacket.

Cheers

PS - 7 hours on the road today. Did the 511 twice. Best ride ever.

I actually saw another YELLOW VFR in Susanville. Crazy, I know. Sitting at Hart's cafe on main street. Minus the dumbo ears, kinda ridden hard, 'munch' or something on the plate.

Sorry DerStuka...cannot help yopu there but I did save a bunch of money on my car insurance!

And I did see a red 4th gen (5th?) in the shopping center at Campbell and Glenn yesterday at 5:30 here in Tucson. Kind of a grey/camo helmet. I know some of your Tucson Forum boys ride around there...who was it? Fess up...

Surfed past another Silver 2003 or 2005 VFR this morning on the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge at about 6:50. The rider was wearing mostly dark riding gear and the bike had a Remus exhaust. He turned left on 6th Street in San Fran. at the Chevron station. Anybody want to claim ownership?

Also check out the Peak to Peak Highway and Vail to Leadville to Bueno Vista.

havcar and I did a ride over Mt Evans but missed the turn off up to the peak. I have 3 pics of our ride in my album but they are not overly exciting! I'm sure that either of us will come meet you from Denver if you pick a weekend to ride. Just send me a PM

Edit - depending on which direction you go over Mt Evans - but, if you end up in Idaho Springs, go to Tommyknocker Brewery (make sure you stick to a 10 ouncer though so you can make it back to Vail
I rode the Mt. Evans route with a buddy last Sunday. It is a very beautiful and quite fun ride. The Mt. Evans turn off is actually into the park and is about half way along CO HWY 113 which runs between Idaho Springs and Evergreen Parkway. The road can be patchy; some places are very nice and smooth, others are ok, and some are not bad but have several pot holes of which many pop up in the corners. Watch out for trucks that like to drive in the ditch to throw gravel up onto the road.
