Official VFR sighting thread

Put your daily VFR sightings up here. Maybe some of us will have seen one another. Wouldn't that be so special??? Awwwwwwww......

Well, I saw some guy on a red 4 gen, in Ocean Beach (SD, CA) Saturday 7/12/08 around 2pm dressed in only tank top, shorts, and flops. Needless to say, I did not feel the urge to leave him a VFRW card.

Update: Thanks for the posts folks. If possible, try and put the location, time/date so that other folks might know if that was them that you saw. Thank ya, thank ya very much, thank ya!

Hmm, *I've* been sighted by a member here (GeorgiaRider) when I was riding around with a buddy. He sent me a PM if that was me in Roswell. Indeed it was.

I have seen a 5th gen yellow VFR on Marketplace blvd in cumming, georgia several times. I do the wave at him but don't know who he is.

Hmm, I used to ride my RWb VF500F down to Southbay motorsports when I used to work there about 2.2 months ago. Maybe that was me? Then again, I would have waved unless I didn't see your or wasn't in the position to take my hand off the bar.

I've always had the same helmet, a black HJC CL-15 Crypt. Jacket used to be a black Joe Rocket Rio Mesh, lost that then I started riding in Mesh/leather combo jacket with red leather shoulders?

EDIT: NVM, you mean South Bay LA right? I'm in SD, sorry.

Spotted a red 5G cruising up 117 in Essex, just past the 289 interchange.

I was riding with my buddy in the lead on his RC51 - he waved, I gave a thumbs up...

Anyone on here???

I saw and met a RWB 6th gen this morning. I was walking back from a convience store near work this morning and up ahead I see a VFR at the intersection. I put a little get up in my step to catch him before he took off. I asked if he knew of VFRW and he said he had just joined. Welcome aboard mchase.

Okay, I'll play.

4th gen on Rt9 then parked at the Army National Guard Aviation Center in Shelbyville Indiana 7/14/08.

6th gen white turning into Greenwood Mall 7/16/08 approx 1PM, no helmet/shorts/sneekers/t-shirt. I responded to a wave with a knock on my lid and subsequent point of my gloved finger. Anyone want claim that one?

I'm in too!
For you Tucsonans: Saw a RWB 25th Anniversary this morning on westbound Sunrise Blvd (near La Paloma) at about 7am. It looked great! (I was taking my truck in for the big 60k service...wish I was on the VFR instead!)
Was it YOU?

OK! Here is a weird one: later that same day I saw what must have been the SAME 25th Anniversary addition at the Swan and Grant intersection in Tucson (heading east on Grant from Swan). No helmet. A chap with short black hair. I am not sure if it is the same fellow since I didn't have long to see him in the morning since he was going the opposite direction. Anyone here? But isn't that fun to see the same guy on the same day?

I saw what I think is a fifth generation, red, VFR in West Hawley, MA on Rt 8a. It was parked at what I think was city maintenance facility? I envy you if you get to climb 116 and 8a every day!

Another Tucson sighting: Sunday 7/20, two bikes headed south on Oracle road near the Tucson Mall. One was a 5th gen (I think) red VFR and the other I could not ID before they swooped by (I was headed the other way). >>>Wouldn't it be nice if we all checked this thread enough so that we could get some folks saying "yes, that was ME!"?
