G6 Hardcases Water Tight?

How well do they seal against rain? I'd really like to pack them without putting everything in sealed plastic bags...

I rode with my 04 for 3 hours in the rain, not a drop got though! Was exposed to anything from sprinkles to full on rain, pulled over for food, sat in rain for 30 minutes. I was very impressed, nothing got through, and no condensation build up inside.

I've been in some pretty heavy rain as well with no leaks at all.

Same story here. I've been in heavy rain for long periods without any leaks... can't say the same for my gloves though!
