rear seat fairing on a 4th gen
will the seat fairings from a 3rd gen fit my 4th gen? i'm having trouble finding a set of rear fairings for my bike but i see 3rd gen ones everywhere

I am pulling this out of my arse....but I doubt it...most fairing parts from different gens are not interchangeable.

That would be a negative, brotha. I haven't seen a 4G cowl on ebay for awhile but they do show up on occasion.

Maybe..
Depends whether you mean the seat cowl alone, or the whole set of rear plastics.. I believe that the earlier plastics will fit the 4th Gen bike, but only as a set, you cannot mix&match..
but this may be untrue..
