VFR forks. What will interchange?
I have a 99 VFR800 i recently bought. Someone rebuilt the front forks & they are rock solid still. No rebound at all. Does anybody know what other year VFR forks would be a direct replacement for my 99. Will the older VFR 750 forks work? I figured it would be easier to just replace them, then to tear into them & try to figure out what is going on with them.

I pulled the forks off today & looks like someone put trans. fluid in them as it was red. I drained them & added Belray 7w fork oil & all is good now. I will finish putting the plastics on tomorrow & take it for a spin. Thanks for the info.
Off topic but how come i am not getting email alerts when somebody replies to my posts. I am set up for instant emails but dont get them?

Haven't a clue to the email other than you must be subscribed to the thread to have it happen.
Good choice on the fork oil Like BZ yep F3 guts with Race Tech goodies makes em pretty darn nice.
