I would still wear a helmet. Someday I will probably buy a cruiser of some sort, even then I will wear a full face helmet. Looks be damned, no "brain bucket" for me.

My helmet saved my life a little over a year ago. Even if I were give a million dollars not to wear a helmet, i'll pass up the offer!!!

A friend told me that the price of the helmet you wear, reflects on the value you place on your head!! One persons view. So no helmet means no value for your head.

On this site, I think you are going to have a REALLY hard time finding people who say they will not wear a helmet. You couldn't pay me to not wear a helmet.

Try a HD or HOG site for better results.

I wouldn't wear a helmet. Whoever invented those contraptions should be shot. How am I supposed to look good with my face covered up?

Screw the helmet.

Always going to wear a helmet period! They do not restrict vision any, a good full face helmet will protect you from that bug going 60 M.P.H, help some in rain and the main purpose if there is an accident hopefully it will protect one of the most important organs you have!

I wear mine, but it seems like you have better vision on your sides without one on, and hearing other bikers and talking are hard. But I still wear them.

YES, YES, YES! Besides the obvious safety issues that nearly everyone will attest to on this site (and might even of had a personal experience as well), no helmet is the most uncomfortable riding experience you could ever have (noise, wind, bugs, bad vision, etc.). Just try it once for a mile or two and you be the judge. Heck, even in a full-face helmet with ear plugs you can hear everything just fine (the bike/motor even sounds better IMHO!).

Ask anyone who has ever sat in a hospital bed after an accident (even with ATGATT) if they ever said " I had too much safety gear on".

No helmet

In the Emergency Room, riders who do not wear helmets are called "organ donors".

I cant agree more!!! Its such a bother when you cant talk to friends through your helmet!!!

Well I wear mine only when I ride. And at those times I try to refrain from have conversations with my ridding buddies!!

I bought a scooter to buzz around town and run errands. Not worth parking the VFR in some of the places I go to. After the first few times not wearing a helmet, I bought a half helmet. Rode a mile, returned it. Now, I wear my Arai RX-7 Corsair which is probably worth more than my scooter. I am sure I look like a tool but I didn't feel comfortable without a full-face.
