Which Rectifier Do I Purchase?

Whelp,

My rectifier/regulater died today on my 90. I was wondering if I should purchase an oem or if there isn't a better one from another make or model bike?

Any feedback before I go buy one tomorrow would be great.

Yamaha R1 or R6 will work and they are heavy duty, buy them on ebay. If you decide to do that PM me and I will get you hook up indtructions.

I bought a VTR 1000 regulator that atleast had some heat sinking.

I believe your 1990 VFR uses the same as my 4th gen. Many folks on here have Rick's R/R's. Come with a 1 year warranty. Excellent customer service.
