Anyone know if your local dealer has a 2007 RWB ABS in stock

Hi All,

This is my first post and I haven't even got the bike yet!!! Live in the Baltimore/DC metro area and my first preference is a 2007 RWB Anniv. Edition bike with ABS. Anyone know if their local dealer has one sitting around. Am willling to drive 400 miles from Zipcode 21045 to UHAUL it back home.

Guidance on price will be a HUGE help. A local dealer has a 2007 non ABS RWB for $8775 PLUS Freight, 6% Tax and Tags here in Maryland for about $10250.00 OTD. He wants $100 less for a newer 2008 Metallic Gray. He also quoted me $ 660 for a 4 year Honda protection plan.

This Bike is going to be a keeper for me and will be a 25 year old wish that I will be fulfilling. I want to do it right and need your advice and input. I wasn't that keen on ABS but after reading this I'm not so sure

Study shows antilocks good for motorcycles too - Autos - MSNBC.com

Thanks in Advance

Anton

Check out Ebay. There are some dealer RWB's for decent prices.

Crofton

The dealer I was referring to in my post was Crofton Honda who want $10250 OTD for the non-abs RWB, unfortunately they don't have an any ABS model in stock.

Welcome aboard. Don't be afraid to haggle. These bikes have been sitting on the floor for a couple years now and you may be able to get a deal.

Planet Honda, Chadds Ford, PA (this is right at the Delaware line) had one a few months ago, but I haven't been in lately to see if it's still there. I THINK it had a price tag on it of $10,250.00, so I doubt if it was an ABS model.

Might be a bit out of your way but Naults Windham Honda (Windham NH) has a brand new 07 RWB (non ABS) listed for $8314 OTD. Damn good price! I'd jump on it if I didn't own one.

Thanks to EVERYONE, someone I know introduced me to a dealer in NC 2007 RWB ABS for $11000 plus 6% MD Sales Tax and $ 550 for the 4 year Honda warranty. Going to do a little more digging...

One dealer right here in MD wanted $13650 OTD with the Extended warranty with a $2000 deposit. Claimed RWB's were $500 extra from Honda. I suppose greed has no limits..

Extra year of warranty - any truth to that?

The best I got was $10570 plus tax and tags and registration in MD. The bike will be new in a crate though. I read here on the forum that Honda sometimes will throw in an extra year of warranty to move new bikes that are still unsold. With the 2009's rolling in should I ask the dealer about getting extending my warranty for a total of 2 years to 2010.

Thanks again..

Anton

Don't forget to ask them to throw in some gear for that price.

Wouldnt Budge

At the most they will install a Sargent seat @ $399.00 and drop the seat height by flipping the triangle. WIll also install the HeliBars that I provide for free. Asked them if Honda direct would throw in an additional year of warranty.

IT'S SOOOO CLOSE I CAN TASTE IT !!!
