Factory Pro is out of the stars and won't be replentishing their inventory until early spring. Does anyone know of a vendor / shop that might have one in stock for a 90???
Help appreciated. |

I didnt put in the star and went with the basic kit (stiffer spring and roller bearing arm). Honestly, the trans shifts like.... well a honda... made in a swiss watch factory. Appreciate your desire to "go all the way" and once you open the trans up installing the star is easy, but not necessary. runs like a champ on the "basic kit".
have you tried calling FP, I wouldnt be suprised if a lot of the stars are generic to honda, maybe they can find one that is identical/compatible?

The 4th and 5th gens aren't compatable. I'll go the route you went and just get the basic kit for now. Thanks for the help.

I think you will be very happy with it, I know I am and I use it on the track shifting at 11-12K all the time (up and down) and love it.
prior to install trans (on the track) was a box of false neutrals once every 25-50 shifts, street was 3-4 shift once in 100 shifts. Now, one in 1000 on the track and never on the street. here is (yet another) link to the GEN3 install. '93 VFR750 Factory Shift Kit install and (VFRD) Factorypro Shift Kit Install - VFRD
