Not to bad a year. (photo heavy)

Just happens every year around this time where I look back and reflect on where I have been. Every time it surprises me just how much land I covered. Thought this as good as any to share in some of those. extra; look for a couple video links between photos What about you?

Here's a video, to break up the stills. Hwy 101 curve on Vimeo

An extra good time..

Yep another video. VFR ride on Vimeo

Yep I was at the track, just none of me, I'm the photographer, all though here's My son at one of the events getting a good line.

Not a bad year, not in the slightest. Thanks to those that where a part of it. May next year be as good or better.

Happy Thanksgiving

I was on a couple of those rides in the pics; great times! 5000+ miles this year, saw a lot of amazing country too. Looking forward to next year and actually getting out of Washington (and maybe the US also)

RVFR,
Amazing pics as usual, thanks. Being a bit of an amateur photog myself, I have been wondering what camera you use and, if its an SLR, which lenses you have been using for all these shots.

Thanks guys for to comps, yea I know what you mean about the blues, good thing I can go back and enjoy it through the photos.

SFPA; it isn't anything high end, just a top of the line point and shoot for the most part, FujiS6500

it's been a great camera for what I use it for. Just last month I got a smaller
SonyCyper shot

as with the Fuji it ain't all the small so packing it sometimes bugs me, be nice just once in awhile not bring anything along but I gota have a camera ;) so this little Sony fits in a pocket. but so far the Fuji is out shining it. there's never any short cuts huh?

you call the fuji a point and shoot camera? LOL hate to see what you call a throw away. nicely done again, I use a Canon rebel XS it does pretty good. I don't use the auto settings at all on it, all manual for my pictures.

take care

That Fuji is puttin out some good stuff!! ..... only it still has to have someone do the pointing. You have an eye for framing, and proper light management, whether you realize/admit it or not.

I use an Olympus SP 560UZ as my point-n-shoot. It has an 18x (thats equal to 27-486mm on an SLR) optical zoom on it, and has the ability to shoot rapid fire at 7 frames per second, which is great for those fast moving targets like speeding motorcycles or Tom Cruise's falling career.
