who are these gangstas you are talking too?? think they might be on the busa forum BOeeeeeY!!!

Their website says they can use any paint scheme shown on the website on any model bike listed on the website.
However, I don't see the 5th gens listed mario...
I also noticed that some of the "clearance" plastics ship from Michigan...I wonder what that is all about. Maybe I could check them out in person...
EDIT:
NEVER MIND.

Also check ebay. they have these exact paint schemes on there as well but I believe they were listed as manufactured in Korea IIRC. And have them available for 5th gens. Someone posted about it not all that long ago too.

Still to Come: RT or Sonic Fork Springs, RT Gold Valve Kit.
I contacted them about a month ago and the 5th gen is available according to the guy i talked to, i think his name was kieth? here is the link so you can scope em out. iread somewhere that these were made in japan, gotta ba a lil better then korea i would think. the reviews on this site mention ebay plastics and how they aint any good coming from china but i have no first hand experience on the matter, all i know is these are a cheaper way to go vs factory. Looks like they include the fender too, payday ill give it a shot once i decide what scheme to use.

Thanks for the link gangsta. Looks like like a good website. Nice to have another option to get plastics.
if you guys have older models, call these goons for your options. they dont list 5th gen but said they can do so...
these dudes just revamped the website, scope it!
Anybody actually ordered any yet?

From the Home page, if you select "Honda" -> "VFR-800" -> "2002-2007", the last item on the page looks like 5th Gen bodywork to me. I think they inadvertently lumped it in with the 6th Gen stuff.

I have to say I still love that Konica Minolta theme. If mine ever get trashed that's what I'll be getting.

I ordered the stock red color, I should have them in two or three weeks, I have been speaking with Kyle the sales guy and he assured me that the parts are 100% like OEM. I hope my hard earned $780 was well spent. I will try to post pictures (I might need some help in that department) once I get them on I will post pictures and comment on them as compared to my stock OEM plastics that I am having painted black. Here's the link to what I purchased

just go to a motorcyle salvage yard and buy a piece from every bike, line them up with 2by4's and glue them together will look awesome 4 shore..............example vfr chassis top fairing old 900 cbr, tail section gsxr sradd, left fairing zx12, right fairing hayabusa, with buell side scoops ducted taped to them, bww swing arm, harley fat boy front end, inline 4 cylinder exchuast cut and bent to fit v4 with each cyclinder having own exhuast like mv4 gold wind windshield with 60 true spoke front wheel and 8 spoke rear topped off with cfr450 rotors and breaks at both ends. gas tank basically pounded out garbage can.. sweet can wait to get started..

They revamped the website so the link was broken.

Does anyone know what the addition of Polyethylene to ABS does to body work? I was at my friends house last night and he just bought a new set of OEM body parts for his 5th GEN and on the opposite site of all the panels is read ABS + PE and I tried to see a "MADE IN ......" stamp but none were to be found, weird huh?
I have done business with Nice Cycles - they can be contacted and are nice and easy to deal with, but for some things like checking order status you have to email them. I needed some plastics for my Yamaha YZF 600 and it was cheaper for me to buy the complete set of plastics for the bike from them instead of the individual OEM plastics pieces (needed front Cowl, fender and right side panel). I am very happy and impressed with the plastics from Nice Cycle (plastics were delievered 14 days from order date - they do individual pieces and custom painting also and their plastics are ABS type which is what is commonly used for motorcycle bodywork) - all pre-drilled holes and everything lined up perfect. I ordered my plastics unpainted because I wanted to do something different. I am currently working with Thin Air Concepts on a body wrap for the Yamaha.

(ABS) Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (chemical formula (C8H8· C4H6·C3H3N)n) is a common thermoplastic used to make light, rigid, molded products such as piping (for example Plastic Pressure Pipe Systems), musical instruments (most notably recorders and plastic clarinets), golf club heads (used for its good shock absorbance), automotive body parts, wheel covers, enclosures, protective head gear, buffer edging for furniture and joinery panels, airsoft BBs and toys, including Lego bricks. ABS plastic ground down to an average diameter of less than 1 micrometer is used as the colorant in some tattoo inks. Tattoo inks that use ABS are extremely vivid. This vividness is the most obvious indicator that the ink contains ABS, as tattoo inks rarely list their ingredients.
It is a copolymer made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene. The proportions can vary from 15 to 35% acrylonitrile, 5 to 30% butadiene and 40 to 60% styrene. The result is a long chain of polybutadiene criss-crossed with shorter chains of poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile). The nitrile groups from neighboring chains, being polar, attract each other and bind the chains together, making ABS stronger than pure polystyrene. The styrene gives the plastic a shiny, impervious surface. The butadiene, a rubbery substance, provides resilience even at low temperatures. ABS can be used between −25 and 60 °C. The properties are created by rubber toughening, where fine particles of elastomer are distributed throughout the rigid matrix.
Production of 1 kg of ABS requires the equivalent of about 2 kg of oil for raw materials and energy. It can also be recycled.

Dino71, please let us know how it works out. I interested in how close the color will match your tank and seat cowl. Their website is fairly impressive.
