Hi,
I thought I'd post pix of my 'stable' now as I picked up a bike for the track this past week. So now I have my '07 VFR complete with N2O (all-rounder), my new-to-me '02 RSV1000 (track/hooligan), and my old '84 VF700F (hope to get her back on the road classic).

6th - '07 VFR, my tourer
7th - '02 Aprilia RSV1000, track/hooligan

Very respectable stable. That Aprilia must be fun.
Yep, she sure is. Quite a difference in weight, power delivery, & handling from the VFR. OTOH, my VFR will remain my distance sport-tourer as the APE is definitely more narrow focused.

Very Cool! Your bike collection closely mirrors my own. A playbike(RC51),an all-rounder(VFR800),and a classic(900ss). Love the RWB,and man that old VF700F sure is purdy. Is it a runner?
That Aprilia is sweet. Stocker? Any mods done to it? Every now and then I see one of them in the parking lot out at the local Ducati dealership. The build quality on them appears to be top-notch. Any possibility you could pull the lower fairing panels on your Aprilia and give us some detailed pics? I'd love to see what she's got under the hood. Thanks.
Remember, you're not braking til your rear wheel's lifting, until then you're just slowing down.
Nice collection yourself stoshmonster :^). I used to drool over the 900SS in the silver blue look, assuming you mean Honda 900SS? Also drooled over the old Duc 900SS as well. An '03 RC51 was the next choice I was looking at, had the APE not been available. My 700 has carb problems that I haven't been good about getting around to. I bought her new in '85 & she deserves to get back on the road.
The APE has an Akrapovic exhaust system with dual cans, & the cans have been shortened; she has a performance chip; airbox mod w/K&N; SS brake lines, frame sliders & practically new Michelins. I got her this way & will only do a few things with controls to suit me, lighting, that kind of thing. I've gotta do an oil change soon & will try to remember to take pix while the bodywork is off :^).
Thx,
ACE

Good to see I am not the only moto-slut.
We've got the
'00 VFR800, yellow
'09 KLR650, black
'98 Thunderbird Sport, yellow (hers)
'01 WR400F
Next time I wash them, I will have to get a group picture.
The only Aprilla, I've had the opportunity to ride was a Tuono R, very much enjoyed that ride!
I would like to get another bigger capacity more upright bike. Kinda miss the FJR1300, strange eh?The touring version of the VFR1200, if it makes it here, could be interesting??
Anyway, thanks for posting the pics of your bikes. Great looking machines!

very nice! what shot are you running on the 6th gen?
Its better to appear dumb then to open your mouth and remove all doubt
what type of exhuast are on the 07vfr??
Ok,
LoneRider; from what I've seen of the VFR1200 so far (Kneeslider, etc.), I think the older VFRs have much nicer styling, JMO ...
Mello dude/Matt; started with a 15hp shot that felt like add'l VTEC kicking in, then ran into probs with mounting brackets & sys. controller. Put in a 25hp jet, then bought the Ape & have not played with the N2O since but will soon :^).
Deepdish; 7lb Supertrapp tunable can, bought to drop 14lbs off total weight up high, and for sound. Not a look for everyone but I like it. Also gives me room for various size N2O bottles should I decide to experiment much more.
