I'm only appaled at the fact the moron who edited the video mixed in Old MotoGP and Isle of Man footage.
Stunters are 10 steps below racers, not even the same game boys and girls.

yep another reason why the 18 year old squid buys an r1, zx 10 and wants to do the same tricks....video was cool ... I wonder beside the badass that saved it in the isle, how many of those riders have a mortgage or live at home with mom flipping burgers????????????

I guess if all you have is long straight roads to ride you have to get your kicks somehow.

it is my belief that there is one level above the squid threshhold...it is the internet forum shit talker with the ultimate safety speak, all the best gear money can buy, a nicely blinged machine, been to all of the top schools, and still can't ride for shit. at least these guys can ride.
I am still a squid...my tentacles are not nearly as long as they used to be, but they are still there. don't be hatin' on the stunta's.

You have to keep in mind when your young you get back up and do it again unless it's a serious fug up. But the pain comes later in life, we rode hard in our teens, mostly off road but all types of riding and every crash I had back then that I thought I recovered from has come back to torture me later in life. So plan on early retirement or a job that doesn't require you show up every day, there's been weeks when I couldn't move due to back pain. Ya gotta pay to play.

HATIN', STUNTA'S. Number one learn to spell, and number two most people have nothing against people doing stunts. Seems like everybody has a problem with people doing stunts on busy streets with innocent people around what happens when one of the idiots smashes somebody's car huh then is it sweet moron. I have absolute respect for people who can stunt when the do it on closed courses or in a parking lot where nobody is around. But when I see people doing it on one of the busiest streets in Youngstown where thousands of cars go up daily if I ever see one stop I would absolutely go say something to them and if they want to talk shit to me I'd probably knock them the hell out.But the problem with that is they'd probably sue me cause that's the kind of people those stunters are they would sue you at the drop of a hat if you touch there bike or them personally but when there out there acting like idiots making people swerve to miss them and messing up other peoples cars its all coo or how ever those uneducated morons say it. If they all died today the riding world would be a better place all our insurance rates would be so much cheaper and those of us who follow the laws wouldn't be pulled over for going 27 in a 25

Mad skillz. I don't stunt, but I ride with dudes who do (just tonight infact; posted a video on here somewhere of one of the boys doing a 6 mile wheelie). I've seen them avoid accidents with amazing skill because they are so comfortable on and in control of their machines. I think it's major oversimplification to blame them for all the motorcycle industry's ills; that's like saying all Harley riders are outlaws, because a few are. Are some of these guys idiots who shouldn't be doing what they are doing where they are doing it? Sure. Are some of the 'normal' riders I see running around in their shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops, who can't take a corner faster than walking pace, also idiots who do a disservice to motorcycling? You bet.
Enjoy the mad skillz and stop stereotyping; blame the idiots, all of em, not just the stunta's.

I am not hating their skills, or doubting that they lack skills, however, what do you think it does for our cause to have people/families driving around in cars scared to death as they see bikes rip by them riding wheelies? Do you think the "average" person goes to their friends/neighbors/local government/congressman and say "dang, those bikers are so cool how they tailgate me, then rip by me riding a wheelie and doing burnouts as I swerve to miss them?" I would bet that many voice their displeasure as soon as they can. My own neighbors tell me about stories of stunters that pissed them off by doing risky things in traffic.
By cause I mean the right to ride, and with less laws being made against us as a group. Look at denver, NY and other local communities that have made loud pipe laws because some people believe it is their god given right to have as loud of a pipe as possible. A few bad apples ruin it for every one.
You should see in SoCal sometimes where stunters actually create a traffic break (swerving wildly from one side of the freeway to the other) so they can stunt. Yep, I am not making it up. That does wonders for motorcyclists as a whole.
I love to watch some good wheelies, but at the right time and place. Preferably some empty roads. Ride on....

(JMO) Let's not go all apeshit on people's spelling skills, or lack thereof. Next the criticism will be for grammar, punctuation, use of the proper tense, use of the wrong antonym, etc. I can understand just about everything that's posted, so that's good enough for me. If you want posters to spend all of their time getting it perfect, rather than just communicating the best they can, maybe you should join a Proper English forum. I'm just sayin'! Back in the 50's there was a big push to get the drag racing(cars) off the streets, which is now the NHRA..... Of course it takes a lot of money to run on dragstrips(not always)...... there are some places that understand how to deal with pep's who'd like do stunts on their bikes(free).... In Nice,France, they have free paved areas for the sole purpose of giving riders a place to do their stunts without pissing off the public.
Every law that's been made has come from someone doing crap that pisses off/hurts/etc. the public. From cell phones, to picking your nose while driving, there are people that can do it safely, and there are people that THINK they can, but NOT. Hence comes a new law to try and cover the ones that can't multi-task. Then the ones that can multi-task have to be stuck in the system of laws for idiots. It would be a lot easier to have one law that covered all "get a ticket for being stupid".
Since some of you guys might be of an younger age that doesn't know, that there was a time when a lot more freedom to drive just by making smart decisions was allowed.
I'll use one that is still going on that people young and old are still seeing, just to get an idea of how it works. One of your favorite roads gets resurfaced, and low and behold there are double solid no passing lines where it was ok to pass before. Why because someone thought they could pass safely with a car coming and didn't make it, so they get rid of the problem, NO PASSING ZONES.
They're closing off dirt bike areas because of the noise levels(and in some areas tundra damage).... and it's catching on with cities, and states for road bikes. There are some areas that you can't ride a bike(mostly if it's to load)in that area even if it's not load.
There's a new sound meter that's coming out to be used obamanationwide, so don't throw away your stock mufflers, you will need them in the NEAR future.(source AMA magazine). There are after market pipes that can have a neater sound without being to loud for the public, but that time has passed due to the pips that wanted to go beyond that level, now everyone has to pay.... more laws.
I love watching stunt bikes by the way, trials/motocross/small dirt flat track/and of course paved road course racing.
Ride long, and happy.....

Ah, Norcal... the only guy who signs into the forum and then talks crap about all us online forum blokes... wah wah bitch bitch... find another hobby if ya don't like us
oh yeah, btw... Not all of us are on "blinged out bikes" with all the hottest gear. you whiny lil prick.
Point is, these guys have some skill, but also some luck... I've personally seen stunts go wrong, guys with their front forks exploded out from under em and such... even had a buddy who plowed into a wall doin' 60 cuz his brakes failed, and guess what? he's DEAD now thanks to his shenanigans. and the fact that half these squids aren't wearing gear DOES make them a tad crazy...
I give them props for putting bikes through their paces... but never in a million years would I take my expensive lil toy and do that crap. My bike is an investment, and I'd hate to break it for the sake of being "cool"... there are plenty of us motorcyclists who just enjoy the ride, with both wheels frimly on the pavement, zippin' fast and sharin' the wind...
Whatever you like, I don't judge... just don't expect me to try itI'll gladly park my bike far way from that area and come watch!

Monk, there would be an extremely long line at the court house for that. I've done some stupid things before, and I'm sure everyone else in this world has as well. No, I don't just speak for myself here. How many times have you been squeezed out of your lane by a cager? ticket there. How many times have you, while in a car (we all own them) gone thru a red light, out of turn at a stop sign, cut people off.... the list goes on and on.![]()
