So this past week I was bidding on a mint used 6th gen Remus carbon fiber exhaust on Ebay... I was under the impression that Remus sell for around $600-800 NEW...and this one was USED...well, I ended up getting in a bidding war with some other dude...I stopped bidding at $400, cause I figure 50% of new price is fair for something like this...he and some other guy kept bidding...and the winning bid ended up being $780!...+shipping! Is that normal for a USED (but mint) Remus carbon set up for a 6th gen? I dunno? Sounds to me like someone should have known better than keep bidding...wtf?![]()
There was someone sellint them new ( not sure if it was remus or leo vance )
for around 600.
I would have stopped at 400 myself.
it seems sometimes the seller has someone bump up the price.

Kinda OT, but I know at least one 6th gen owner has fit Termignoni (sp?) CF cans on his bike, and they looked great, probably sounded awesome, too. I've seen them on ebay and been tempted to bid.
Just something to keep in mind if you're looking for a set of new or slightly used CF cans for your 6th gen.
$765 new from exotic sportbike........oops.
I stopped around $400 as well.
E-bay makes for some bidding crazy people. Know what somethings worth before ya bid. I don't make my bid till the last seconds. And never go over what I feel it's worth to me.

I hate Fleabay......................Too many weirdo

I have gotten some good deals. But like mjrfd said, stick to what you think it is worth. It ain't a bargain if you get carried away.
