Don Quixote and the Golden VFR

Decided to take the girl out to stretch her new Gold powder coated wheels and came across a nice photo op.

LOL! Love the thread title. Pure genious!

Wow that first pic is definitely a picture postcard shot SLOVFR.
Gotta say, your bike is looking prettier and prettier everytime I see it.
Love the underseat exhaust and Gold rims. Lookin' sharp!

Damn I miss my old '97.
Why oh why did I ever sell it.
    Stupid,stupid,stupid.....
Remember, you're not braking til your rear wheel's lifting, until then you're just slowing down.

SLOVFR: The bike is looking great. The rims and the undertail exhaust make it look like and RC45. Did you do a write-up on how to do the undertail exhaust? I'd be interested in doing something like this to my 5th gen. Was it a pain in the ass to do?

    Thanks.

Nice pics, of a nice bike. I'm liking the gold.

Looking at the hills, makes me wish you had some nobbies on. I miss my old enduro.

Thanks guys, I like the outcome of the setup except now Im on my toes from the tail riser needed for clearance. Handing is great and looks way better than a can covering my 8 spoke!

As for the under seat exhaust I have some details here :
