Anything to break up that sail they call a fairing. I think if they could do that it would look a lot better. It would probably look a lot better with a complete make over though. I mean really, did they HAVE to shape the bike like that? were they really trying that hard to flatter BMW? How many wouldn't buy the bike if they changed the fairings?

But yes, a better paint job please....

It is going to take more than paint to make that bike look appealing to me

That does quite a bit to suck in a RWB fool like myself.

I think the RWB scheme tragically over-emphasizes the elephantine proportions of the new 1200. Just an opinion. I think the 1200 looks better (smaller) in black.

How about RWB like the 84 1000F?

not to deviate to far from the OP, but has anyone noticed how since the 80's Honda has pretty much kept the RWB paint schemes on EU/JDM bikes instead of in the States?? The last generation CBR1K looked pretty sweet in Captain America livery- and all we got was two tone's....

Bu then look at how much they are losing on the 25th 6Gens....

Still crap though! you can get pretty sweet looking CB400's with RWB to this day in Japan.
