    So I chose the RWB...

I was back and forth between this or the red. I was going to order a left over red one and this rwb popped up on craigslist just 150 miles away. Basically I paid for this what I would have paid for a "new" red one. This bike had only 861 miles on it before I rode it home. Guy has had 3 vfr's, has 3 kids and no time to ride. He also has a 2000 Bimota (Hand built Italian race bike that uses a suzuki sv1000s motor) with only 1500 miles.

Edit: future plans include: white wheel tape (for now), CW fender eliminator, Puig smoked windscreen, Staintune exhaust, and maybe a set of Honda hard bags.

Will the hard bags work with aftermarket exhaust and FE? I've seen some with a bracket connecting by the FE. Do the Honda bags have that?

    I love this bike.

Thanks. So far I've detailed it (as you can see :) ), ran the wires for the battery tender, removed some of the warning decals and cranked the preload up in the rear.

Great buy, I am sure you will love it!

One thing you mentioned was hard bags and a fender eliminator. At least for the Honda bags, you can't have both of these. The bag mounts actually connect to part of the fender. However, you can remove the mud-splash portion of the fender, and that helps improve the look in my opinion.

I learned this only from making the mistake myself and having to remount the fender.

    Enjoy the ride.

Where did you have to go to get it? There is a guy near me who has a Bimota. Another RWB!
Seems we have become a trend! Good for you.

    Congrats on your new VFR!

Be careful with the fender eliminator and the OEM bag mounts. I've seen them in combination before, but there had to have been a custom-made bar, bracket or something going across the back for the hard mounts back there. Or like B.Craig said, maybe they had cut down the plastic on the rear fender to tiny proportions.

As for aftermarket cans, I know there are at least a couple that work with the OEM bags, including Staintunes.

A friend of mine got a leftover 07 in red. It's pretty, but I kinda like the RWB better!

    It's a sweet bike.

I actually like the red, but am biased toward the RWB since I own one. I have the CW fender eliminator and am running white rim tape. This winter, I will be powder coating the rims white to get the full effect. Congratulations on your purchase. You will love this bike.
