Here are some pictures of my hitch.
basic consept, a ball, connected to a plate, with 4 arms connected from the plate to the bike
2 upper arms going to the frame of the seat (threaded hole was already there)
2 lower arms going inbetween the rear foot peg and the frame. make sure both screws have either the hitch arm, or washers on either screws so the rear foot peg is still flat against the frame, avoiding bending the rear foot peg.
there may be one change, the left side lower arm may need to be hooked to the REAR footpeg screw rather than Front footpeg screw. the angle can keep the arm from pushing the chain guard into the chain, not sure yet if this will be a problem, but if it is moving the lower arm from the front screw to the rear screw of the rear foot peg will fix it.

Itl look better when its painted red.

figured it might bolt up to where the foot pegs are

Ya, it works great. turns out its alot stronger than even the tongue of the trailer.
which got bent and needs replacement now.
I am not sure about this design, but i photoshoped what my next design might be.

i would have to put triangles to connect in front of the top arms to the bottom arms, and put a peice connecting above the wheel.
i worry that if i have much force forward, for instance getting rearended, this design will push all 4 arms out causing more damage.
also if i make it shorter, tho being stronger, would push the hitch into the wheel which hasent happoned yet.
It looks great! BTW, who is your interior designer?
I know that fish tank is by Yves Saint Laurent ?
I recognized the fish tank as a genuine St. Laurent. The carpet is what I am most interested in. It looks as though it could double as a Petri dish.

here is a bit better view. what do you think.

I think it's time for you to buy a goldwing. Just a thought.
I still think what you have there is nothing short of an engineering masterpiece. I am surprised that Honda has not solicited your services. Maybe if you dumped the plastic tote thing and put on the fish tank they would take notice.
Hope this helps.
Well, using rectangle tubing rather than flatstock worked perfectly.
Hauled my old vfr 140 miles today. when i get it it ironed out and make it look better ill get some pics

Bummer, so you aren't the first.
no. it sucks. tho hitchusa sells a 250 dollar hitch for a vfr i believe.
tho the above picture looks cheaper. I found it on vfrd through google

what happened to the frnt tire? did it slip on the drive out? or did you tie it down that way...

i tied it down that way. my tongue is twisted, so it was slowly working its way off, once it did the straps woudl have no slack and would cause the bike to fall.
