Just wondering.... Do you wear any kind of hy-vis eyewear? They work real well for spotting stuff ; dips/bumps/deer/rocks/fluids/etc.....

Any light colour from yellow to orange works well.

That's a great idea. GFR, all you need to do is walk the entire length of your intended ride and clear the path of any debris. The military does this every day.
