If you have epilepsy then obviously you have been diagnosed with this problem. If you are rideing with this and do nothing about it (ie. treatment/medicine) then no I don't feel sorry for you. If you have epilepsy and tell me before we ride; and you go in a seizure; yes I will help and treat you and your injuries. I wont feel sorry for you. If you ride and didn't know you had epilepsy and have a seizure; I wont feel sorry for you. Again I will help you and treat your injuries. Thats just how I am. Yes I am an EMT-I.

Not a chance for pity!
Then we won't have to read so many 'useless' posts!

I don't pretend in the slightest to understand epilepsy, its effects and causes. But I will bow diVeFR because, though he is not a doctor (I believe) he does have some knowledge being an EMT. What I will say though, from a policeman's perspective, if you are prone to seizures, blackouts, fainting spells or what ever other condition that would cause you to have any loss of ability to safely operate any piece of machinery, and you "choose" to operater that machinery, then you are totally responsible for what may happen. And if you hurt someone else in the process, especially if you have not taken medications that prevent this from happening, no matter what the reason you don't take them, then you are criminally negligent and should go to jail.
For some strange reason society comes down really hard on people who drive while under the influence of an intoxicant, (and rightfully so), yet we seem to have sympathies for someone who drives while one's ability is adversely affected by a medical condition. I mean really WTF people?
Park it and take a cab.

What a stupid post !? What are you looking for here ? Nobody wants anyone to have epilepsy for sure & most of us would/will support anyone who has it (or any other medical condition)....but a sympathy poll ????? Sorry vent over.
Is T-bagging not an option? J/K
I would help, but I don't know about feeling sorry.

As a medical professional I strongly advise you NOT to ride a motorcycle with a seizure disorder.
