I have seen kits for that. I think Dennis Kirk might sell them. But theones I have seen relocate the plate to the swingarm. Not sure how well that would work with a single sided swingarm, tho.

ok. thanks alot. The ones i have seen relocate it way up under the seat, kind of towards the front of the rear tire. It makes it very difficult to see, but i like the look. Also, makes it hard for cops to get a tag number lol. But i will look into your suggestion thanks again. Any more ideas are welcome.

Another option would be a fender eliminator, which would relocate the plate closer to the underside of the tail. The plate stays visible and is not hidden, but the fenders are remoced. You can find soem fender eliminators on http://www.exoticspotbike.com

Fender Eliminator
I've been rooting around trying to find a decent way to get rid of that huge fender too. Some of the guys here have posted photos with exactly what I'm looking for, but I haven't yet figured out which kit they've used. Here's a link to an option I'm considering. http://www.1tail.com/sa/cart/detail....-C78BB2AE6F95}
Edit by Mod: fixed your link. |

I installed the fender eliminator Competition Werkes sells on my '06 (http://www.competitionwerkes.com), pretty simple install and I think it looks great (sorry, no pics yet of mine). For $60 it's pretty reasonable.

I just bought a second aluminum license plate bracket, trimmed it up, bent it a little and bolted it on in place of the factory fender. I also added license plate bolts that were iluminated. I think the entire kit cost less than $25.

Get out your dremel and go to town. With a little ingenuity lots of things are possible.

I am not RosscoB, but thought I would help a little. Those are made by Remus. you can find them here: http://www.remus.at/ or here: http://www.exoticsportbike.com/, though with exoticsportbike.com you will have to call or email them to get the correct application for your year model VFR.

spud, be advised all you are getting is a little piece of metal. I used one for my fender eliminator. there is a short article about it here:

I love the looks I don't know what kind of gains I got from them performance wise, because I also added a power commander at the same time, but there was a difference. Mostly I LOVE the sound.
