The one that always messes me up is converting barleycorns to furlongs.

Instead of ft/sec, for a while we were rating everything in furlongs/fortnight. That didn't go over very well.

That one is easy. The distance/time in that equation is directly proportional to the distance a Harley will travel in a week before having to go in to get fixed.

He actually said a "fur" piece. It's an old Southern joke that is very hard to explain.
