Moto GP Trend / future VFR???

Has anyone noticed that the recent trends with moto GP (reduction of displacement to 800cc) and the V4/ V5 engines make the VFR closer to cutting edge machinery?

I wonder if superbike will follow that trend. If it did we would have come full circle and they could just roll out the RC45, dust it off, update it and away we go.

It would be great if they started to make another V4 Honda with a harder edge. One can only dream.

There are prototypes of a V5 vfr. I'll see if i can find one...

Nothing really substantial out there. I saw a japanese poster that promoted the new concept.
We'll keep wishing...but not with high hopes.
