Corbin Gunfighter Seat: Awesome

I got this old Corbin seat for my baby 500 a couple weeks ago on ebay, and I finally got around to taking a few pictures!

I gotta tell you guys, I frickin love this seat. It holds me in place great, no more fear of sliding off the back like with the stock seat! The back is kind of neat too, it looks like a cowl from a distance, but it's part of the seat so someone could sit on there if they wanted.

All I had to do for installation was take these two metal latch pieces from the stock seat and put them on this one. You can see here though near the top of the picture, where the blue and white meet, one of the rivets popped out so i'll have to fix that later.

There's also some wear on the back left corner here. Anyone know how to repair something like this?

Anyway, the point of this post was just that this seat is pretty cool, and I wanted to brag about it

Just ordered one for my 2000. Can't wait! It can't be worse than the stock seat, comfort-wise.

I've got the same seat for my '86 750 that matches the color scheme. However, I'm running the stock seat because I like the look of it with the rear seat cowl. Mine is in perfect shape, but I'm not looking to sell. I might put it back on at some point. I know that these seats are very hard to come by for the older Interceptors.
