service manual

hey gang,

i'm looking for a 6th gen service manual (disk or book). any ideas where i can pick one up? I haven't seen it at any of the bike shops i frequent.

Manuals

Try the Honds Owners Link. You'll have to register, but it's free. Got both the service and owners manual. The service isn't cheap though.

There is a 6th Gen Service manaual available for download here......Click on the VFR Wiki button at the top of this page, scroll down to #15 - Info/Docs/Literature, Click on Downloadable Parts Catalogs and Service Manuals, The 6th Gen Service Manual is the second Document from the top. No Need to go buy anything........

I got my service manual form the local dealership. It's the same manual their mechanics use on the bikes. They had to order it and had it in a week. I think it cost me about $35. It's come in handy a few times. I like having the hard copy for use in the garage with the bike. If you get it online, I'd suggest printing it out.

If you want the printed manual, you can get that from helminc.com hrca.honda.com offers it online if you subscribe for $20/yr.

Found this site that lists manuals for all types of bikes and they are free! You might need a download utility to help with the download as sometimes it will bail if the server is too busy.
