New VFR owner

G'day all,

I am a new VFR owner in Australia. I have a Limited Edition VRF800. Brand new.

Does anyone know much about these bikes?

I was told there was only 200 made. Is this correct? Are they only in Australia?

I will post photos at a later date (when i work out how to do it).

Thanks for looking !!

Thanks.

By the looks of it Australia is different. Ours don't have ABS. I asked for it but couldn't get it.

Yes. It was built Aug 07 but is an 08 model.
In Australia we only have 06 models then 08's.

I was told there is only 200 in Australia but wanted to know if any one else has been told differently, or knows for sure.

Ah yeah, I think I sorta understand now. Good luck with your new machine, I'm sure you will get nothing but positive comments. They are pretty stunning.

Someone on the OZVFR forum has a RWB, I think he said something about a limited number being brought into Australia.

I know my local dealer had one.

Could I restart thread again?
I checked the Honda Australia site. It souds like the limited edition for VFR's 20th
anniversary in Australia. I am not sure, but I thought no tricoloured were sold in EC.
I wonder Honda is waiting for an even number year for European market.
Australian VFR comes with a carbon look metre panel and top bridge. They are
warantied for two years.
