whats up all. i still need to fill out all my info. my screen name ive used since i was a teenager, and it's just stuck. my first passion was arctic cat snowmobiles. im a machinist, im from IN, but im over here in IL for a job- it's turned into four years going. i love two strokes. the next best thing to a two stroke liquid cooled, is a very high revving inline 4 four stroke. i had a lot of toys leading up to my first streetbike, multiple sleds, a quad, and a YZ125 that was scarier than a crotchrocket to me. i blew the top end out of the quad (a '92 suzuki LT250R), and was just too busy to rebuild it (i was halfway through and bailed- sold it in a bushel basket to a buddy). my first streetbike was an 04 600RR red and black. i loved it too much! if you love somethin let it go, thats my motto. i was ready for a track and was fearful of loss of life or incarceration. life will not permit track time at this point. so im looking for something thats up the sixth gen VFR's alley. i'm ready to put some serious miles on, but im not ready for a harley or anything too painfully slow yet. im on here doing my homework. ive narrowed it down to an '06 or newer VFR, i think. these things do not sound like what i was expecting when they're piped! they sound pissed in a very unique way. i think im likin the crowd on this website. you guys have a good thing goin here. take care all!

amen! im old school on my sleds- these new chassis designs just arent doin it. haven't ridden one, im sure they're faster than the old stuff, but after about 2003, with this rider position like you're on a dirtbike- thats just not a true sled to me. those ZR's from like '98 to 2001 were the prettiest sleds ever. especially the ones with batteryless EFI :) i'll have another one someday
