welcome to the site. there are a few other ladies here, and you are more than welcome as you can probably tell from the numerous replies you already received... good luck in the search. as someone else mentioned the VF 500 and hawk are both good choices for a fun bike, too. But, the ex 500 is a good bike, too and we don't mind people form all types being here. KC-10 especially likes Harley riders.

Welcome to the gang. I hail from the northeast. Where the weather has decided to give summer a miss and just go right back into winter. Hope it is nicer down in UT!

Im coming that way later this year to hike/climb in Zion, Arches, and maybe mountainbike in Moab. I dig your corner of the planet.

Take your time looking for bike deals, there are great ones out there if you are patient. Nice meeting you and keep the shiny side up!

Hey Meg (and all the other ladies)...I think the way to think of our forum is sort of like a club in 8th grade that has mostly boys...we are all harmless but are so thrilled to have some ladies that are interested in our sport that we give them an inordinate amount of attention. We are thrilled to have some feminity around. Sure, some guys might sometimes be a bit risque with some innuendos but a quick retort will always put them back in their place. And I know some of the ladies here never even reveal their gender to avoid it all. Anyway...we like the different perspective...welcome all you women!

Welcome Meg,

You know, we Utah folks have the best track in the World ( MMP ), & the best M/C club as well ( Utah Sport Bike Assoc. or utahsba.com ) .

You can meet up for rides & track schools, as well as track day's for "ALL" levels of rider skills.

Ck out utahsba & see you around (may of seen me riding, I'm the nut that rides all year round up here) & my daughter rides as well (she rides the VFR now).

Joe/Taz

p.s.

I think I know VFRguy2000 as well ???

1st off, Sorry Meg for the hijack

herbvfr705f, i was @ Monarch about 5 times today ordering & p/u parts for 4 of my bikes I spent the day working on & watching my 3 yr old son (wifey had things to do today).

Tomorrow will be taking the bikes (as in bicycles) out.

next week, Tuesday, a bunch of us are meeting @ Davanzas in SLC (7:00 to 8:30pm) for some good 'ol bench racing & pizza. then next Saturday a ride to somewhere, & Sunday out to MMP to RC @ the ART School.

You & Meg are welcome to ride up with me (I leave @ 6:30 pm from Lindon), & or show up (great bunch of people with UtahSBA.com & CanyonChasers.net @ Davanzas), see the bikes & say Taz sent you & eat some pizza !
